Who We Are

We are a dental practice that has a long history in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Dr. William C. Wilson opened this practice in 1963. Dr. Douglas L. Kirol joined and partnered with Dr. Wilson in 1999. Following Dr. Wilson’s retirement in 2004, Dr. Ann B. Kirol (Dr. Doug’s wife) joined him making this truly a family practice.

We, along with our professional and caring staff, take pride in our ability to restore and enhance the natural beauty of your smile using the latest and most conservative technologically advanced procedures. About our doctors

Dr. Ann Kirol graduated from The Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1998, and completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at The University of Louisville.

Dr. Ann Kirol is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Tri-County Dental Society, The Catawba Dental Study Club and The South Charlotte Study Club.

Dr. Douglas Kirol also graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1998, and completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at The University of Louisville.

Dr. Kirol is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Tri-county Dental Society, The Catawba Study Club, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Both doctors received the Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2003. They believe strongly in a commitment to continuing dental education.

The Kirols live in Rock Hill. They are both active in various sports. Dr. Ann is a runner, and Dr. Doug plays basketball and golf. They both enjoy volunteer service, and spending time with their two boys.

We strive to make sure that our office is one where your safety is paramount, thus keeping infection to a minimum. We follow standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in order to ensure that your visit to our office is as germ-free as possible.

We want to build a foundation of trust with our patients so that you will have less apprehension about visiting the dentist. Some people naturally feel uneasy about dental visits, so if we can help your experience be a relaxing and positive one, we have accomplished a major goal. Each of our staff members is dedicated to making sure that you have excellent personalized care in order to make your visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedatives, CD player w/headphones and video monitors to assist in your having a relaxing dental experience.
